Pattern chosen by the Princess herself. What a luck that super-knitting-mommy likes it too, because this is stranded-overload!

CO on the beach in St. Malo (seems like an obvious place for a ski-jumper!), thinking that if I start early, I will finish before winter comes…
January 2014 : this sweater has not been priority lately - has to be done asap! January = winter! :)
February 2014 : must finish for winter vacation!
16/02: Intense knitting IS the answer! Finished, sewn, washed and blocked! I sit in front of the sweater and watch it dry! :)

Mods:

• Knit 36 cm instead of 29 before beginning on the center pattern… oups, my mistake…
• Knit girl-pattern on front and back pane.
• Neck-line: intead of BO, I set stitches on a string, thus avoiding to pick up stitches. Did read instructions on decreases like this: BO x stitches in the beginning AND end of each round. Decrease 3+3, 2+2, 2+2. Knit then 1 rd in red, switch to smaller needles, knit next rd with decresases to reach 92 stitches for the round of neck (instead of 88). Begin rib. Knit 4,5 cm and then BO (Jeny’s surprisingly stretchy BO), not doubling the neck.

Comment about gauge:
my gauge is fairly tighter on the sleeves (kit both at the same time with magic loop) than on the body, and the sleeves are therefore rather snug fitting. Remember next time to go up a needle size on magic loop!
I might re-knit the sleeves with bigger needles, cutting up by the under-arm join and knit top-down, adding 2-4 stitches on the seam.
