I have wanted to make this pullover for a long time. I love the simple neckline and the stripes. A typical less-is-more-sweater. It is an easy knit, but next time, I will knit in the round to avoid the seaming. I added one stripe in the waist. The sleeves are a bit long, but I like to cuddle my wrists and hands inside my sleeves to keep them warm in winter.

The yarn is perfect! I initially thought of using two strands of Holst garn Supersoft in different colours giving a more rusty colour and a rougher touch, but there were not enough yardage left in the shop in the colours I wanted. And then Barbara showed me the Superior which she had previously used with the Supersoft. The blend is fluffy, but less hairy than a mohair, beautiful shine of the silk, cashmere softness… And the Supersoft is really soft after washing, as usual.

This will be a favourite!

17/12: Finished side seams (ugh!).
27/12 : Picked up stitches for first sleeve. I am knitting this in the round with magic loop. Made a 10-row hole for thumb on the last repeat.
04/01: Started second sleeve. This time, I knit inside out to benefit from the large knitted band - and it is much faster!
06/01 : Finished knitting this morning. Fastened threads and blocked.
