I liked using this wool. It is a lace weight wool though using a fair isle chart it was fine to knit up for my beret. I did use a few more loops but not considerably. I have lots of wool so wanted to try a small project before designing something larger for me to wear as I had read so much about how the wool is after a garment is washed. Having used Shetland wool for years, it is not too different I found with the washing - so I feel more confident in making a jumper now with it. It is ‘fluffier’ than Shetland and not so soft though a nice change for me to use. These pictures do not show the hat off very well, sorry about this!
