Making my second pair of gloves from this lovely Shetland lace pattern which I highly recommend by Olach Designs. The first pair I gave to my sister for Christmas. She appreciated them too, which is great.
The Shetland DK pure wool I’m using is from oiled cone and it blooms wonderfully once washed. I’ve completed one and onto second this evening.
Finished as planned this evening, 7th February 2022. The wool looks so lovely after a bath in warm water with a little detergent or laundry liquid to get the oil out. They’ll get photographed tomorrow, I hope.
