Notes

I have made this rather loud hat and named it Rocket Beret as it reminds me of an ice lolly I used to eat when I was little - maybe some of the food colourings we had then are banned from the ice lollies of today and you don’t get them with all these shades in them.
Anyway, the colours are from the shades that are in the Jamieson and Smith colour box palette for 2013.
I’ve had some fun with the shades as I have not taken this project seriously, and just pulled out first shade that came to hand out of my bag, maybe not such a good plan….
3rd August I entered this at the Voe Show annual agricultural show where crafters can exhibit their work.Surprisingly I got a prize for this!
I am now sending it to Homelessness charity beanie competition in UK.
