This project sort of happened magically. I REALLY loved the pattern when I saw it, since my girl loves little ponies.

So today I was working on my top while listening to the awesome Craftlit podcast, and at some point I had to try the top on, but I didn’t want to pause the narrative… so suddenly I found myself crocheting a pony head!

Lovely pattern, very clearly written. I am on the first hindleg - all other parts are done (for a regular pony). Of coarse, for toys making the parts is the easiest part! :)

1/18 The pony is done and sewn together - only need to make eyes. I used almost the full skein of Dream yarn. I ended up making main and tail out of crochet chains of yarn, since I really liked how the original looks. It is funny how one can curl them up or pull them strait for different effect.

1/19 Done! I made the eyes out of felt, since recently I like those more than knitted ones (which imho are often too thick and stick out too much).
