I once bought two skeins of Blacker Mohairblend 4 ply, to try them out for socks. But didn’t do that. They are perfect for this hat though! Together with a little leftover Rauma (the lighter colour)

My mum lost a few hats she knitted herself and the last one she knitted became too wide after wearing it a few times, so I thought it was time to knit one for her as an early birthdaypresent.

The meterage isn’t accurate above. I’ve used about 30 grams of the main colour and nearly 10 grams of the two contrasting colours

Blocking over a balloon, more or less my head size. That works best for beanies I think.
