Notes

the pattern says to do decreases on the back leg, but I think the sock will become too tight. So I will knit straight on.
Heelflap over 42 stitches. Slipstitch heelflap.

almost at the toe of sock one.
The knitting goes slow on 2 mm’s but I love the effect. The colours are marvelous!

Finished at last! Had to undo the toe of the first sock, to make the foot a bit longer, as it was tight. Now the socks have a relaxed fit, they will probably shrink anyway.
Knitting on 2 mm needles is too fine for me. 2.25 makes already a big difference in handling the needles. I did work with wooden dpn’s and I really had to be careful not to break them (did break 1).

after 5 washings, 1 by machine and 4, the knitted yarn feels as soft as it did when knitting the socks. They didn’t shrink or felt yet, so very happy!!!
