I had the yarn since last winter, and finally did cast on.
Knitted it in 3 evenings. Very nice pattern.
I did choose the same colour as the example in the pattern, because it is a gorgeous warm rust colour. Great fit also, enough room to really pull this hat over your ears, neck and forehead if the weather is getting unpleasant.
