Cast on on April 1, 2019. A lot of stitches on 2.25 mm needles! Hope that goes well!

started the stranded knitting. The yarn is very thin and less sticky than a shetland yarn or a woollen spun yarn. Hope it blooms a little after blocking.

after knitting a while, I really got used to the thinner yarn. I rather like the lightweight effect.

started first sleeve

started the buttonband/collar, very long rows, but it will give me courage to tackle that last sleeve, when I know it’ll be finished after that!

I have blocked the cardigan before starting the second sleeve, because the last rows of colourwork on sleeve 1, just before the cuff, where very tight. I pulled my strands to hard, I’m afraid. But blocking made it better, so I am not going to re-knit that section, and just start the second sleeve. Also now I know my sleeves are a good length, I wasn’t sure before blocking the garment.

started second sleeve, but might faal short in the pink, as my cuffs are knitted longer…

finished with all the colourwork, and about 8 cm of mossstitch to go for 1 sleeve.
I almost ran out of yarn D… ordered two skeins, as the pattern says, only have about 7 cm left for size 2
