Notes
  • Swatched with 3 different yarns to make sure I get the right kind of fabric. All yarns had at least some alpaca in them, but this cashmere blend was the winner.
  • The yarn color was based more on what I would like to wear than what’s exciting to knit. I figured that, hopefully, I will spend a much longer time wearing than knitting it.
  • Knit the back and forth section on a 2.75 mm circular, the rest of the body on a 3.0 mm circular and the sleeves and the pockets on 3.25 DPNs.
  • Picked up two extra stitches in the underarms to prevent a hole and then decreased them on the next round.
  • Made the sleeves 5 cm shorter so that they are actually 3/4 sleeves for me instead of slightly too short full-length sleeves.
