The instructions for the large cables as written do not make sense to me…the purl stitches appear out of sequence. For my reference: L large: slip two K to cable needle front. Work next three as a cable wo needle (knit two then purl one) then knit two from cable needle. You end up with the purl in the same position as the row before, with the two knit columns crossed over it.

Heel flaps 2.5”, 30 rows. 2” looked tooo short. Memo to self: look up how long size 7 feet are. Also GAH tension change from knitting in the round to flat. It will block out. Right?

Uploaded a photo for future reference of the lovely string of pearls edge i get when doing the flap as per my description in my Bovary socks. Makes it so easy to pick up the stitches and looks good when done.

To every heel, turn turn turn. Ssk instead of k2t because symmetry is my bag, baby. Yeahhhh.

Usual toe. These would be 1/2 or so too short for me, so hopefully that works out!
