I love this pattern. There are 8 lines to repeat and each one is different, which keeps it from being boring. You do have to pay attention. I’ve missed some YOs and had to tink back but that’s because I was trying to talk and follow the chart at the same time!

Knitting on 40” circular needles.

I’m using Chickadee instead of Tern, so it should be a big shawl. It required just a little over 5 skeins of Chickadee.

Doing Icelandic Bindoff because it will be a nice stretchy bindoff for the garter stitch.

I love the garter stitch band. I think it gives the shawl a special look. The garter stitch is mind numbing but it’s definitely easy “watch tv” stitching. You don’t really have to pay attention.
