Notes

This may be my new favorite fingerless mittens pattern. I knitted much more of a top and then turned it down into a cuff, which I think looks nice and is warmer.

Using Magic Loop. Loving this Shepherd’s Wool Yarn (made in Michigan!)- it’s so soft. A really great value yarn. Want to make a pair of these for one of my nephews, so I’m making the size in the book and going to access how large I need to go up to make them for a guy.

With a #7 needle, it is just right for a woman’s average hand. Will have to go up a couple of needles and maybe chunkier yarn to get a guy’s hand? Or I may just add another few stitched to the pattern.

I picked up a couple of extra stitches than what the pattern calls for when knitting the thumb - I don’t think the pattern has you pick up enough.
