Modified the pattern so that I did stockinette on the tongue, which I thought looked nicer on top than garter stitch. These knit up so darn fast. Held the Ecolana double. Took a whole skein to do one slipper.

These were a tiny bit large for my son, who wears a size 10 shoe. He loves them, though.

Did kitchener stitch on the bottom to graft.

Would like to knit myself a pair but wondering how to make them smaller - either use a smaller needle or cast on fewer stitches?
