Using Magic Loop for this. It makes it so much easier to try the mitten on as you go as opposed to using DPNs.

First mitten finished. It was maybe a bit on the large side, so I switched to a US#1 needle for the last ten rows of the fingers, so it would be a little smaller. I used the #1 needle on the thumb. The size is just right.

I misread the yardage somehow when I chose the Berroco Alpaca Light for the lining - I ran out of the purple color and had to sub another color to finish one inner mitten. Oh well - no one will ever see it! It did make a nice lining, though.

This pattern has no inner mitten thumb, tho - I might try to improvise one next time I knit these. Also, I don’t like the look of the i-cord cast on cuff so next pair I’m going to do a different cast on. Maybe a picot edge.

I love, love this pattern and will be making it again.
