This was a very quick knit. It took me no more than three hours, even with my first ever attempt to do fair isle. (there was a hat I saw a long time ago on storenvy that I wanted, but could no longer find it so I made my own!)

I could see myself making a ton of these hats for gifts. I didn’t use a very bulky yarn, I just picked up a bunch of the loops&threads impeccable yarn because they were all on sale, but I would love to have made this hat with a bulkier yarn. It would be so warm and cozy.

I tried using circular needles I purchased at Michaels, what a let down. They were TOO long! So off to work with my straight needles I go.

This was quick, easy and fun. I think anyone could whip up a great winter hat with this pattern without any issues no matter if you are a veteran knitter or a total beginner like me. <3
