The hot water bottle cover pattern has been used as a template. Instead of the fairisle design on the pattern, I adapted free patterns found here:

Flames and Viking Longboat.

I may do some further tweaking as I go along - more waves at the bottom and/or some fish, perhaps.

I’ll be using 7 (of the 8) colors listed for the knitalong. Not used: FC38 (brick). Update: I’m going to add some fish in the water and will use the 8th color for them.

The knitalong runs until 3/20/2017.
