2nd Place at the 2011 MN State Fair!!!

Finished this morning! It needs a blocking to smooth out the increase round in the body, but I still put it on and am wearing it right now. I love it! It’s so comfortable, all the proportions are perfect, and just an overall flattering design. The photos aren’t the best, but I wanted to get something up to show it off. It’s a great project!

My yarn came today so I started the edgings tonight. I really love doing this ribbed-type edging - lots of fun to crochet, it’s fast, and it looks really great. Perfect finishing touch to the top. This is a really well written pattern and has been an enjoyable project. I can see myself making this top again.

Finished the main color crocheting today. As luck would have it, I had just enough of the Water colorway to complete the entire sweater. Since the yarn is discontinued and gone from all regular stores, I ordered some of the Oatmeal colorway to complete the sleeve and neckline edging. I’m pretty happy with it and will take pics when completely done.

I started this in the late evening of March 24. It’s easy and really nice results so far. Super fast too.
