I wanted to make a little “notions” bag and got the idea to weave a square on my 14” Hazel Rose loom… I wove with wool (Paton’s Classic worsted) so I could felt it. When I folded up three corners to the center, I noticed that a 7” triangle would fit in the space to make a deeper bag. I whip stitched the ends at the center, fit In a triangle piece, did a single crochet border and added a button loop at the center of the flap. I felted the piece in my top loading washer…and was quite pleased with the results, I decided to call it my “E-Square”--for the square shape and it would stand for “everything essential.”
