The pattern is from the book, Classic Elite Quick Knits. I picked it up at the library a while back. It’s not often I find a book with several patterns that I like. But, this one is pretty good.

While I think this is a really pretty and super warm hat, it turned out a little large, despite going down a needle size. The yarn I used is a bit thicker than the one called for in the pattern. If I knit it again, I will use a size 9 needle.

I had never done a T2B before. I used this video tutorial which demonstrates the technique without using a cable needle (which I never seem to have handy).

I can’t say enough good things about this yarn. It’s the first Peruvian Highland Wool that I have been able to wear next to the skin. No itchies. Yay!
