I had hoped to finish this for the HP Finale Part 1, but I failed. I hope Sarah Thien can forgive me when I present it to her for the HP Finale Part 2.

7/12/2011: Yeah, missed the hp7.2 deadline too, but I picked this back up. Am seriously worried that I will run out of yarn…38 rows left so I have sent out a few messages to folks with this yarn in their stashes…

7/18/2011: Yep, worked 10 more rounds and there is no way I will have enough to finish. Have posted an ISO thread and am now hoping some kind soul will help me finish my evil masterpiece.

7/22/2011: Whoah! Had about 10 inches of turquoise left! Just enough too weave in. Had a couple feet of obsidian left. More than enough to weave but not nearly enough to fringe, but ravelers have come to my rescue! Should have plenty of turquoise to fringe when I get home from vacation.

7/22/2011: I was too hasty…I forgot to knit the two plain rows at the end…yarn has too much mohair to rip back the bind-off but the mismatched ends will continue to bother me…grr grr! How to fix how to fix…screw it! It’s an evil scarf afterall.

8/2/2011: The Dark Mark scarf has fringe and is now done. Would it make me a deatheater if I kept it for myself instead of giving it to Sarah Thien aka (saraherin)? Yeah, probably.
