Notes

NOTE: You will have enough yarn. I was so worried as I was knitting, but look at that little ball of yarn leftover. You will have plenty.

Yarn was attacked by kitties and the ball is now a mess. Slowly detangling and winding into a ball…

08-10-2013: detangled whilst babysitting Andrea’s daughters & managed to cast on while we watched Disney’s Peter Pan

08-10-2013: finished 7 rows during church. I run sound more often than not so I’m hidden from view by the sound booth. I love being able to knit during the sermon--helps me remember it.

09-05-2013: Need to measure against Andrea’s wrist before starting the thumb increase…

12-22-2013:Almost done with the first glove, got about 30 more rounds on the hand then the rounds for the thumb… fear running out of yarn for the second glove

12-30-2013: Have finished one glove, but cannot imagine that there is enough yarn left for a second glove…

01-13-2014: Nevermind, pretty sure I will have exactly the right amount of yarn to finished. Just completed the thumb gusset increase and the remaining ball of yarn is plenty (color is completely off in this picture though).

01-17-2014: About to do the purl rows and bind off the hand. Gots me plenty o’ yarn left for the thumb. No need for that second ball of yarn which I’ve already ordered and paid for…oh well, guess I’ll hafta make another pair.

01-18-2014: Cast off the hand, picked up for the thumb and cast that off too. Now to tuck the ends, soak, and gift.

01-25-2014: Found a my weaving needle and tucked the ends. Was gonna soak and block, but Andrea has waited long enough so I gave them to her on 01-26-2014.
