My October socks are a bit of a Frankenstein experiment. I took elements and techniques that I have enjoyed most from all the socks I’ve crocheted so far this year and mashed them together into one pattern. I’m calling them “In the Shadows” because of the neat pop of color created with the block stitch in the ankle and leg. Next time I make these I think I’ll use block stitch for the top of the foot too. It’s such a fun stitch pattern!
