Just goes to show, if you persist with a project you will finish it. I do however have a whole shoe box of leftover wool and zero interest in making something else with it!

The red hexagons were a last minute idea and they work really well I think. Not sure it is reflected in the photographs but the whole design has a real Wild West “Americana” feel to it.

Can’t wait to wear it out. Am at the hairdressers next week, not sure if they are up to my total knittiness…

I was inspired to make this by the crochet bag I bought at Camden market a few years ago. I was tempted not to get the bag, I thought, I can make one of those. This wrap has the same number of pieces in the same gauge and it took me 2 years to complete…just goes to show.

If you see a nice knitted thing, just have it, you don’t have to hand make everything yourself. Just look at my queue and how long this took me to make! LOL!

Some of the yarn came from the giveaway on the front of a knitting magazine, some came from the Opening Day goodie bag from Loop on the day their new store in Camden Passage opened. Some was leftover from the teal hat, the purple jumper and the turquoise cardigan I made previously.
