Notes

I started this a real long time ago. Basically I wanted to use up some scraps of lovely blue yarns, all set off with navy as a base.

I knitted the cardigan with short sleeves, and although I loved it, when it’s cold enough to wear a cardigan you need sleeves. Wrist length sleeves.

So the cardigan languished unworn, until this year, when I decided to put it to rights. For some reason I went out and bought 300g of the completely wrong yarn, which didn’t go with the original. Then one day a couple of weeks ago, I thought I was coming down with a bug, however it was my brain whirring and I worked out what to do.

The zigzag part of the sleeves went quickly, but I had to redo the sleeve caps several times. The sewing up went smoothly and it looks great on. I’m really happy.
