Notes

For some time now, I’ve been asked to write out the pattern for my “Jennifer” shawl. This has proved surprisingly challenging, as I found I hadn’t really worked out what “Jennifer” really was.

I bought this Kroy sock yarn in the Medecins Sans Frontieres stash sale at Loop a couple of years ago, and I loved the colours. I also knew I would never get much wear from plain stripy socks, as I have plenty of those already.

The yarn has a tiny stripe of yellow, that I decided to accentuate, so the bright yellow Mimosa Spindrift lurking also in my wool box came into its own.

I can honestly say, this is my most favourite thing I’ve ever knit. I will block it and wear it. And I have enough yarn over to make a hat and mittens probably. I am really happy.
