I am making my own version of a favourite shop-bought cardigan I wear all the time.

When I bought this wool I was uncertain as to how the colour change would work but it’s good! I really like the overall effect and it is a good quality yarn, so far no knots or uneven thicknesses spoiling the appearance.

Fronts: cast on 78 sts. 86 rows = 18 inches.

Back: cast on 100 sts.

Sleeves: cast on 40 sts, cast on 1 st each side every 6 rows until 25 rows. Purl back across all rib sts.

Continue casting on 1 st each side until 68 sts across - 85 rows. Cast on 6 sts each side of sleeve.

Knit for 5 inches. Cast off half the stitches (40 sts). Continue for another 5 inches so back measures 10 inches on the remaining 40 sts to complete the back. Put stitches on waste yarn.
