Me and my dear friend Lesley visited Brighton during the summer and my first stop when disembarking is to trot down the North Laines and purchase something smashing from YAK.

Brighton always gives me a pang as I had a disastrous experience whilst pregnant and trying to buy a house which I was swindled out of by the valuer.

anyhow, that was decades ago.

so I purchased the Pom Pom magazine and on the way home after a smashing day at the seaside Lesley announced I had to make her one of these.

I’m really enjoying the pattern, it’s a very clever use of colour.

It’s great! I love this!

Note to readers, if you use stash yarn and go up to a 5mm needle the gauge goes up and in my case I used the middle size instructions and the finished object was 2 inches wider than the largest size stated in the pattern. So to make the biggest size, use the smallest size instructions.
