7/8/2017 - Adding notes now. I began this actually over a year ago but frogged it due to pattern issues. Finally got updated corrections in February and restarted. Then discovered even newer corrections last week but nothing major so I may be able to finish this before another year is out. Hopefully I can finish before summer is over.

No modifications, simply knitting per pattern instructions. I plan on doing the neck last because I am going to modify the neck as the recipient does not wear turtlenecks but loves this design.

Correction: I am doing a minor mod in the cable. Where the cables in the middle are concerned I am twisting the first and last stitches of each cable (where they meet the purl stitches) because they were leaving holes that I just did not like. Now there are no holes and the cables look more defined so win-win.

I do love this yarn. It is such a gorgeous thing to work with and touch but it is not my first choice for any sweater that needs less drape. This is doing well right now but it isn’t as stiff as wool would be with this pattern. I’m not worried about it losing it’s shape as it does have lots of spring and bounce. I made a different DROPS sweater with this and it is so loverly. But it does halo a lot when washed. I think it’s going to make this sweater very soft and fuzzy but I think the recipient is going to love it regardless. I would definitely use this yarn again in a cowl or hat, fuzzy sweaters, or even for baby blankets
