Finally done with this one! Used mattress stitch to sew the blocks together, then whipstitched the rows of blocks together. The whipstitch gives a little more strength the blanket which I felt it needed while the mattress stitch gives a seamless look to each row.

This is pretty much a simple throw blanket, good for covering up your lap while watching movies or reading. For a longer blanket it would be easy to add rows and/or columns.
