This was a pretty easy shrug to knit. It is basically a rectangle, fold in half, seamed and with sleeves added. I had never picked up stitches to knit and so I learned here on the sleeves. I made the size 6 which was plenty big for my 6 year old and I thi she will be able to wear it for a while.

I used 24 inch circular needles, but when working on the sleeves it was a little tight to knit. I did a tight magic loop, but dpns or a longer circular would have been easier. But the sleeves went quickly so it wasn’t a big deal.
