I looked at a bunch of children’s sweater patterns to get the sense of how wide to make the neck & how deep to make the raglans. Kid’s bodies are weird! I ended up using the basic raglan recipe, with an extra large neck opening that I finished at the end with a few rounds of garter. Extra sleeve length and increases at the sides to accommodate toddler roundness.
I switched yarns every time I ran out & left the tails on the right side.
A great leftover-user-upper! Now I want to make a big one for me!
