This is a fabulous pattern! I’m no sweater-knitting pro but it was a breeze from start to finish!

The customized sizing makes it really easy to fit - I started with a smaller size for my shoulders and then increased for the bust downwards, and it has turned out just right (will add sizing details here once I’ve got some modelled photos).

The yarn I used is also gorgeous, very very soft and a joy to knit. I’m anticipating it being lovely and cosy to wear too! Overall the sweater is slightly drapier than I usually like them, and I’m wondering whether I could knit this pattern in a worsted yarn on smaller-than-recommended needles, to get a bit of a weightier outcome. I shall experiment! And will probably make it in a solid colour next time. I like the stripes (a lot!) but having ordered the wool online the colours weren’t exactly what I was expecting and I’ve kind of got stripe/colour fatigue :-) Also, I didn’t like how the first stripe is kind of cut in half by the neckline, so started them lower down, which now it’s finished I think might have been a mistake after all. At that point though I just barged ahead with making it anyway (I had already ripped out the yoke twice due to stripe experimentation and was fed up) and have ended up with a jumper I love, but would probably never have made intentionally. However, it suits me well and I will definitely wear it - it’s nice to be pushed out of one’s comfort zone sometimes!
