This last battle bonnet is for Michael. This is the only project that I have knit this many times and even though I’ve made each one different it is time to move on. :)

The helmet is inspired by Twisted Woolie Topper’s Brownie pattern.

9/11/12: After a long hiatus, I am finally working on this again. Hope to get it to him for as a Christmas present.

9/18/12: Finally finished the brim. Now I’m ready to pick up and knit the crown!
9/23/12: I finished the “bonnet”. Now on to the beard!
9/26/12: I started the beard today.
9/30/12: Finished the beard. I will be lightly felting it today and once it is dry the finishing touches will go on.
10/1/12: I felted it today and I’m waiting for it to dry. I think it is going to look good!
