02.21.12--I got perfect gauge on US 7’s. I decided to go down to a size 6 to get the bust to fit more like I want it to and to get the length a bit shorter. I’m also using the shortened version, per http://www.knitdarling.com/2010/shortening-delancey/

Some how I ended up with an extra stitch on the middle part of the left panel. Hmm. I can’t figure out where the mistake is at all.

02.22.12--Not a fan of this yarn, but it’s machine-washable, so I guess it works. The yardage is amazing, too.

02.23.12--Another speedy one. I’ve finished the right front already. I’m doing almost the equivalent of each week’s knitalong in one day. Oops.

02.24.12--Finished the back!

03.26.12--Finished the body; starting on the sleeves. Did the short rows & wrapped the 6th stitch before starting the arm of the sleeve. Decreasing every 8th row instead of every 10th row to accomodate for my much shorter arms.

03.27.12--Finished 2nd sleeve! Did the cuff in al red to use up as much CC as possible and conserve as much MC as possible. I will then probably have enough MC to knit a decently large baby sweater in my queue. Yay! :)

03.28.12--2nd sleeve done! Picked up ~ 143 sts for lower border.

03.29.12--Did 12 rows of short-row shaping for the collar instead of the 10 that’s called for. Also did no purl rows on the collar since I used the CC for the entire collar. Spaced button holes ~ 8 sts apart (yo, K2tog, K6). for a total of 5 button holes.

03.30.12--Done! Just need some buttons and a good block.
