I have to say--this yarn is really really nice. I wasn’t expecting it to be nearly as nice as it really is. Awesomeness. :)

This was so much fun! The combination of the delicious yarn, color, cables, (everything) made it so much fun to knit. I was so sad when I finished. Of course, I got enough yarn (in a different color) to make another! I think I’ll make a set: one for my mom & one for my dad.

One thing, though: my gauge was off. I didn’t think it would matter (it’s a scarf!), but for this project, I think it did. The scarf is really wide to begin with, and my gauge was making it much wider. For my next scarf, I may go down to US 7s. That way, I can make the scarf longer, too. My dad likes ridiculously wide scarves, though. We’ll see.

I ended up doing a total of 12.5 repeats (instead of the 14.5 repeats for the small size).
