I initially wanted the fairisle pattern to be subtle, but some shades of these two yarns might be too similar. I will keep going for a while, but I might end up trading in the brick colour for something lighter.

October 27, 2011: I take that back!! I like how it is turning out!

September 16, 2012: after hybernating all summer, I finally finished the bodice and cut the steeks! It was my first time and felt wonderfully liberating! Now onto the sleeves!

I cast on 94 stitches for the sleeves, as I wanted the cuffs to be a little more snug. I also made them half an inch longer.

The border literally took forever, but I am finally finished and I am pleased with the result!
