This block takes almost the entire skein of yarn. It is also very heavy once finished. This particular blanket is only 4 squares. Each square took an entire night of crocheting to finish. The edging is a series of single crochets, double crochet, alternating front and back post double crochets and the crab stitch. This is my go to edging as it makes anything look elegant. The pattern will go with any type of yarn.
