marts 1. 2013: After finishing this completly, i found that the patterns at the front did not match, when the vest was closed. AND it kind of draped at the front due to the inc, at the front on the lowest border.

so i frogged the frontborder. and decided to cut of the inc st. AND put a zipper at the front insted of the edge. i found the edge to heavy and making me look larger than i actually is. so now on for a zipper hunt…

STARTING OVER AGAIN.

Down to start.
i am now reknitting without the “biser” and without the ugly light brown stripe.
I hope this time i Will love it.. And finish it. Perhaps in time for my birthday. Then i will have finished within two years.. :-)

1. Januar 2011. Startet the knitting. Love it. I make the hips like a small. And the top as a M. (its a M i try on the photos, but i think the hip part where TO wide.. )

2. januar 2011: I got the yarn as a kit from my husband. He really did remember, that I was absolutly in love with this vest, when I went to a workshop with Christel last fall…The picture of me in the vest - is from the workshop !!

I have started with washing the yarn. I am allergic to the unwashed wool. So to make the knitting more comfortable i wash the yarn before knitting.
In a tennis sock - one skein pr sock. And in the washingmachine - at woll-program.

I the meantime, I will consider wether i will reduce the width around the hips. The west is rather large there in the construktion… But well…som am I…
