5/29/13 - Finished! If I make this again, I will definitely make it bigger, but overall I loved the finished product. The only thing I would do differently (besides making it bigger) is changing up the shades of white and cream, they were too close together color-wise and it just kind of looks like a mass of white in the middle of the blanket. But really a minor complaint and nothing at all to do with the pattern. I might also use a slightly nicer yarn, the Berocco is OK, but the acrylic in it is not quite as nice as some more natural fibers. I’m becoming a yarn snob!

5/1/13 - Started this blanket for my co-worker. Love it so far. Easy pattern, but satisfying to see the little chevrons taking shape. On a good night I can do a full color stripe (so 20 rows). Hope to finish in a little more than a week.
