Notes

Warp: Silk/Cashmere lace, Gradient “No nonsense”, 2,50m
Weft: Silk/Cashmere lace, Gradient “No nonsense”
Reed: 50/10
Slots used: 125
number of ends: 250

Yarn used for warp: 24g of each colour (=120g total)
each colour for 25 slots/50ends (=10cm)

Yarn used for weft: 24g of each colour except brown (because there wasn’t room left for the last brown stripe)
each colour in 10cm stripe along the gradient, then backwards again and so forth.

I was a little worried that the yarn might not be suitable as warp due to its cablé structure. It’s not very elastic, which is usually not a good sign. But it worked, I was really careful, though, not to bump into the warp strands.

I love the result! And one gradient was sufficient for a huge shawl (47 x 196cm).

Pictures are before weaving in ends etc.
