Notes

Decorating this is such fun! The back door is a dutch door (the top part opens) and the bottom part forms a pocket for lavender or sweet herbs. The heat of the tea pot should release the aroma. I used vintage silk embroidery threads from my great aunt’s stash as well as some needle felting and silk ribbon. The wagon’s wheels are small metal circles that I whip stitched around. The wagon was knitted and felted, cut to size and needle felted in place. (pictures soon) Vintage buttons (thanks Aunt Mina for having such an awesome stash) were used for the front door handle and stoop.

Class at The Loft. The embroidery is fun. I think I’ve spent more time decorating than I did knitting.
