9/10/12: So excited about this project! My swatch was way too tight so I upsized the needle to a US4/3.5 mm (I’m using the right weight/yardage of wool the pattern says a motif should use so the kit should be perfect even though I’m using a different needle size).

9/14/12: I’m on the middle tier of the first row of color C. This is almost a mindless knit, but you need to pay a little bit of attention to the decreases.

10/1/12: So adding a stitch marker to the beginning of the right side row takes away a lot of that needing to pay attention to the decreases.

10/28/12: I’m almost done! I’m starting the last row of color E.

11/5/12: So thrilled with the final shawl. I actually finished it last week, but just finished the blocking and photographing portion of the program.
