Notes

I saw the sample at Urban Yarns, NV and loved it. Am doing it very close to their colours but changing it slightly to add in the gold.

My colours are much more spicy than a “sweet shoppe” so changed the name. ;)

This is a big cozy shawl. The centre line measures 33” and the wingspan is 88”

::Modifications::

I kept the centre stitch as “stockinette” all the way down. The pattern calls for it to be in garter stitch for those sections, but I wanted a continuous knit stitch all the way down the V.

I omitted the garter-stitch circles in the variegated section. I tried it with and they just didn’t show up with the colourful yarn, so those three panels are strictly stockinette stitch knitting.

I added a picot bind-off. Good heavens, it was 1,214 stitches and I broke a needle, but I love the how it looks!
