Notes

Knitted twisted rib rather than 2x2 ribbing for almost 1.5”; pattern called for 2” of ribbing, but I wanted to get on to the larger needle. Started the colorwork at 3” (per pattern), and I’ll knit to 7” before I begin the decreases. If I run out of the Light Iris color, I can unravel the hat currently in time-out to get enough to finish. Then I’ll use the rest of the time-out hat’s yarn for a different hat.

I’ve gotten the hat far enough along tonight that I can take it to a meeting Wednesday night and work on the mindless bit of stockinette. And if I hit 7”, I’ve memorized the decrease pattern, so I can keep knitting…
