I finally frogged my mis-sized Hey, Teach! and am giving it another try. I went down a needle size and cast on two additional stictches for a garter selvage on each side of the back. I am planning to make the stockinette portion longer, and then decrease for the ribbing lace portion.

I also have posession of the Hey, Teach! I knit for Lisa, which doesn’t fit her well, or me (and didn’t before either of us lost weight), but I’m using it as a size reference.

The 2nd Time Cotton stretches quite a bit, especially in the lace pattern, so I’m aiming for some negative ease up top.
