It was a quick and very enjoyable knit. The construction is quite clever and I learned some great new techniques on this one that I will definitely be using again.

I loved watching the scallops form and after a few false starts found the rhythm simple to repeat.

I’ve included a dodgy picture of it blocking to show what I’ve done. I steam blocked and pinned the crescent portion out, while just pulling on the edging to even it out. I then went around and pulled the scallop up on each repeat to keep the ruffle intact! The Islington is perfect for this as it holds it shape after steaming.
