Worked the peapod pattern concurrently with the hat instructions for Choose Your Gnome Adventure. Shortened the straight section of that hat.

Borrowed the body style from Oh Gnome You Didn’t, because it’s round like a pea, but made it bigger to fit the scale of the hat.

Tried four different ways of making peas, and decided I really prefer the stockinette strip, sewn into a ball. It’s the quickest and least fiddly. Same technique I used on the octopus eyeballs years ago!

Used the curly beard from Gnicole, hoping to evoke the tendrils of pea vines. CO 6 sts, worked 9 reps total.
