Turns out I couldn’t bring myself to finish this one. But I found someone willing to take it off my hands as a WIP and so I mailed it off to Ann/5dogswalking. I know she will put it to good use! :) i hope she doesn’t mind if I post the photo she put up in the forum when she received the mailing today for my final shot.

Using some stash for this project. At this point I have chosen the following colors but have yet to try out an octagon to see if I like the blend:

MC: cement
A: aqua frost
B: breath of blue
C: greek sea
D: VC taupe
E: VC pink added after a few motifs

Using size 6.0 mm hook for the octagons and 5.5 mm for the squares (at least to start).

SNAG! I need another color - E! Back to the bins to see if I can find something I like with these. Considering VC pink.

So far I have made motif 8; 2 without any E but instead a combo of A, C and D; motif 3; 11 was the first with the addition of E as pink from VC, 1, 7, 15, 4, 10, 26.
